About Friends of Tottenhall Rec & Boundary Fields
Our Friends group was founded in the autumn of 2020, with the aim of improving our local green space for both residents and visitors. We want the Rec to be an inviting, safe space where people can both play and relax on their own, with their families or with a group or team.
We work with Enfield Council to improve the upkeep of our park and its facilities. We also apply for funding from other bodies where appropriate
We have two active groups - for plants and flowers and for litter picking. The Plants and flowers group meets on an ad hoc basis, with a focus on specific projects. Litter picking generally takes place on the first Sunday on the month from 10am - 11am. Meet at the car park. Adults, children, dogs all welcome! We provide all the gear.
There’s a small dynamic committee which leads on liaison with the council, organising the litter picks and making our funding applications. Funding is generally from grants, with some donations with local people and businesses.
